WOOLSWAP – FUN FACTS FOR YARN SWAPS

I thought I would share some fun Woolswap Stats with you.

Woolswap has been going now for 4 years. With the amount of you lovely yarny folk joining up each round, we are here to stay.  I am even more passionate about bringing you a great service. Where you are then able to add to your yarn stash. To also, make some lifelong friends from across the globe.  I know I have during this adventure.

In the past 4 years, I have ended up meeting 8 of my Woolswappers in person. This was an amazing experience to actually put a face to a name.  Two of these people I met in the USA when we were travelling at the end of 2018. It was wonderful to meet them and experience their part of the world. When Covid-19 hit the world in 2020, this did put a stop to our travel plans. It did not stop me from meeting more of my Woolswappers. I have become great friends with 3 of them from Pittsburgh in PA, USA. They hold a weekly Zoom knitting night, which they have very kindly included me. Plus a number of wonderful Woolswappers that I have become friends with via Woolswap itself.

Woolswap is ever-evolving (like any good business right??). Stay tuned as there will be some changes to our website in the coming months.  But will keep you all posted with how this pans out.  I’m sure you will love all the changes. Just as a sneak bit of information it will make the registration process a heck of a lot easier for you. But, Sssh this is all I can say now about this…

Next Round of Woolswap

Also please mark your diaries the next round will be open on the 1st of May. So I look forward to seeing you all on board for another great round of swapping and making friends.
